Subhabrata Sengupta, Executive Director at Avalon Consulting, gave his views to Financial Express – Express Mobility on why plug-in hybrid cars haven’t picked up in India.
He said that the cost economics of PHEVs needs to be evaluated as PHEVs have a higher cost than BEVs on a cost-per-km basis at the moment.
