Subhabrata Sengupta, Partner at Avalon Consulting, discussed the unit cost challenge for Hydrogen fuel cell buses with Deccan Herald. He noted that while progress is being made, full-scale commercial deployment remains a considerable distance away. Currently, these buses have a specific hydrogen capacity and range, resulting in a significantly higher per-kilometer operating cost compared to other fuel sources.
