Teams of 2 can be formed from final year students of full time MBA (Marketing / Finance / General Management / Strategy) courses only (refer below for list of institutes invited)
There is no restriction on the number of teams participating from an institute. However, a student can be a member of one team only
Teams have the flexibility to choose any one case out of the three cases provided for their presentation
The contest will be held in two rounds; one at the campus level followed by national finals
   

Presentations and accompanying analysis files are to be emailed to Avalon Consulting following which campus level shortlists will be declared
Avalon Consulting senior personnel will visit each campus and view the shortlisted presentations
The time limit for this presentations is 15 minutes per team followed by 5 minutes of Q&A
5 teams across India will be shortlisted post this campus level round for the national finals
   

The 5 shortlisted teams will be assigned a senior Avalon Consulting representative as a mentor for a period of 3 weeks
During this period, the teams will work under the guidance of their mentors to augment their presentations through application of consulting tools and methodologies
National Finals shall be held in Mumbai on September 27th, 2008
The judging panel will include top management from the companies providing the cases as well as from Avalon Consulting
